Is a sidescroller. Black pixels are "air" and dark pixels are "air" with more graceful jumps being allowed. Saturated or bright pixels are solids, with various degrees of that making them more breakable.
Downscaling and upscaling is possible. The new caveat is that in order to upscale, the level up has to also have a black pixel where you'd appear -- this is indicated with a dark gray pixel, or vice-versa.
Some kind of combat / items / whatever. I'm thinking a basic collectathon.
Touching any of the edges kills you. Idk how lives work.
I also don't know how the sidescroller mechanics work -- my existing engines are kinda cumbersome. I need a new engine that moves the player around incrementally and allows for momentum and partial clipping of tiles and stuff. Porting the whole thing to an html5 canvas also makes a certain amount of sense -- the fractal generator still informs the terrain.
