  • the starpod is spinning and moving at top speed but is near a sun so the solar detectors woke you (the ship AI) up after thousands of years of hibernation.

  • your goal in this stage is to power the fusion Reactor. This requires enough energy for ignition, plus enough hydrogen to jumpstart the process.

  • unfortunately your power supply is *extremely* limited and there's a heck of a lot of damage to the ship.

  • your first step is getting more power. Starting out you have a solar panel that's providing a tiny trickle of energy. You have two others, but they're facing the wrong way and the connections there are broken.

  • complicating things, micrometeorites are constantly hitting you, this damage has to be repaired with crystal hydrogen, which takes power to make. If your hull reaches 0 you lose completely.

  • you need power to move the solar panel and also flex the hydroscoop. You have some Scanners to help you get optimum opportunities herein, however they're also kinda broken and need to be repaired.

  • additionally, hydroscoops 2-5 are offline.

  • additionally you lack the processing power to do more than one thing at once, including read displays. This also should be upgraded optimally. things like hull warnings have to be traced down manually, all you get is a red blip.
