World Secrets

These are things that are in the world but are not part of any story or quest. There are hints towards them in the lore, though they're very vague.

Loop Center

The Loop Center is the antipode to the Strange Loops and more accurately the energy where the Aleph Conduit is located.

Finding it isn't required in any way, but players will probably stumble across it while exploring the Void Seas. In its base form it gives cryptic coded information about a slew of chimeras that should probably be fairly close physically.

If you enter it while in Chimera, it is instead a tunnel to an incremented chimera number. Though the altplane update might mix this up a bit as the lore has changed.

Yeah it should go along a Trade Route depending on the direction you entered from -- this is how Aleph Conduits work in the lore so it fits. It also means if you know this you can do trade routes for free, but it's kinda obscure and also chimera is difficult to navigate.

Aleph Antipode

The starting dimension, Aleph, is a kind of Center in its own right -- it's the absolute center of the dimensions map, though that does at least wrap around. It also has access to the quantum and entropic planes. It therefore stands to reason that there would be an antipode to it somewhere that has its own unique properties.

The issue is that the antipode isn't fixed in place -- it's somewhere around the outer edge (assuming I can get the math to make sense here), but it's location isn't fixed.

It might make sense to have the outer band be void provinces, so it's like a scaled up version of the void sea (though smaller of course). The six "corners" where they meet could have a kind of "super" loop center, based on an element. This could then tie into the respective melange plane for it somehow, which could give clues as to the whereabouts of the actual Aleph Antipode.

The actual Antipode is a fixed space inside one of the outer band dimensions that has the size of a normal province. The outer band dimensions could be infinite like melange planes -- this would actually help solve the discrepancy in their proportional size relative to a province's void sea. Or if I really wanted to overwork on it, their size could be the same ratio relative to the rest of the dimensions that the landed and voided areas are.

The region would generate how a province might, however its actual position should change in real time, maybe daily. Each of the six Aleph Loop Centers would also have information that changes accordingly. Using transdimensional portals would be highly helpful to keep track of it.

While you can see the province, you don't access it from within your current chimera, it's actually its own separate one, and interacting with it during the window that it's around would warp you to it. Once there you don't have to worry about the window closing, and if you interact with the "void sea" here it teleports you to the appropriate chimera location at ideally the also correct spot.

The province itself should be very strange -- like void appearing naturally in the overworld to varying extents. I'm not sure what to put there -- obviously no civilization since there isn't any in the outer band either. At least nothing habitable. Perhaps ruined cities and stuff dot these areas and help you uncover additional strange lore. Could tie into the Pivots in some way.

Still a lot of things to determine here, and I'm definitely overcomplicating everything.
